This movie revolves around the concept of discrimination on the basis of caste and how it still affects the lives of various individuals, leading to heinous crimes. Ayan, an IPS officer who is posted to Laalgaon comes across certain episodes of caste discrimination which make him ponder over this issue. He further starts investigating a case of rape and murder where he is confronted with the loopholes in his own system and is thereby encouraged him to rectify them.
