Beautifully encapsulating the essence of Sufism and its mysticism, this movie indulges us in the story of a blind dervish Bab'Aziz and his granddaughter Ishtar. They travel through the desert in order to attend a dervish reunion which they don’t know the whereabouts of. He also tells various stories to Ishtar each reflecting on Sufi teachings, including a Prince’s obsession with his reflection. If you are eager to find out about the destination then there is a great life lesson in store.
