This movie is a historical romance between Peshwa Bajirao and Princess Mastani. Although Bajirao is married to Kashibai, he falls in love with Mastani who is not welcomed by his family. They fight for their love and Bajirao accepts her as his second wife which breaks Kashibai’s heart. With time, she tried to accept Mastani but Bajirao’s mother and elder son plot to kill her which leads to consequences that no one foresaw.
