13-year-old Josh wishes to be older and in a carnival, his wish is granted when he uses a fortune teller machine called Zoltar. He wakes up as a 30-year-old man and is unrecognised by his parents, forcing him to flee with the help of his best friend. Initially, he enjoys being an adult as he gets a job, apartment and a girlfriend but starts missing his younger carefree self and tries finding the Zoltar machine in order to become normal.
