Intertwined with reality, this movie tells the story of Zain, a 12-year-old Syrian refugee living in Lebanon. Born into a family of many children, Zain is partly responsible for raising all his younger siblings. When his younger sister is forcefully married off to a much older man, disgusted and disappointed, Zain packs up the little number of things he owned and leaves. The street life eventually lands him in jail, where he decides to sue his parents for giving birth to him.
