A down on luck waitress Yvonne waits for the table for Charlie a humble police officer, every day. One day Charlie gets a lottery ticket and is short on money to tip her but promises to pay half the sum of the lottery if he wins it. The next morning he wins a 4 million dollar lottery and decides to split it with Yvonne as promised. They soon start falling in love but the story doesn't end here.
