Cast: Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush, Helena Bonham Carter

Duration: 2 hrs

After the abdication of King Edward, his younger brother King Albert becomes the new King whose childhood problem of stammering keeps him from giving public speeches. His lack of confidence and zeal makes the people around him unsure of his rule. He hires a speech therapist Lionel Logue who helps him in reducing his stammering and conquering his fears of speaking in public. The brilliant acting of Firth in such a difficult role is top-notch and even that of all the supporting cast.
