Luca is a young sea monster who wishes to go to the nearby village to witness how humans live. He befriends Alberto who is also like him but lives above ground. They dream of riding the Vespa scooter and due to some circumstances run away to the city. There is a competition in the city that will allow them to win the Vespa. They become friends with Guilia and train to compete. They now have to hide from Luca’s parents, avoid water which transforms them whilst enjoying the best summer ever.
