Following a different anime style of poppy bright colours, this movie is a sweet tale of childhood love and friendship. Ponyo is an underwater creature living with her wizard father and many sisters, who longs to become a human and live above the sea. Sasuke is a young boy who gets a goldfish which turns out to be Ponyo and she transforms into a human. They instantly fall in love but Ponyo’s father and mother don’t want this transition.
