This movie is the epitome of horror and is the herald of demonic possession, horrific exorcism and chilling encounters with the other kind. Regan MacNeil is a young girl living with her actress mother Chris in Georgetown, she soon starts experiencing poltergeist-like symptoms like erratic behaviour, throwing objects, violence and social withdrawal. Her mother, an ardent atheist tries all medical remedies but to no avail, she then asks Father Karass to perform an exorcism on her daughter.
