Their conflicting ideologies form the bases of this novel which embodies an ideal man in Roark and the society in Keating. The books whole argument lies that individualism is superior to collectivism. A holy grail for architectural students as Rand’s description of buildings is sublime as well as her arguments towards the end make the work timeless.
