The people of the dominant caste with the nexus of bureaucracy and power, strangle them in oppression. The protagonist character of Karnan played by Dhanush rises from the village to fight for his people against the evil nexus. The film focuses on various societal aspects thus showing the oppression and persecution of the marginalized based on the casteist divide.

The story revolves around Borat who's a TV reporter from Kazakhstan who is sent to prison for shameful acts done in the previous film. He then has a chance to redeem himself when he is sent to America to give a gift to Donald Trump. But his plans are thwarted when his 15-year-old daughter sneaks to go with him. A story of social commentary and political correctness in contemporary times, this movie is worth a watch to better understand the current social sphere of our societies.

In the small town of Alabama, an orphan child Charlie living with his grandmother encounters a dangerous witch. The witches in Alabama target the Children’s. Fearing for Charlie, his grandmother takes him to a safer place in a resort. But the grandmother doesn't know that a Secret Annual Summit of Witches is going to take place in the same resort. Will Charlie survive the wrath of the deadly witches?

The movie is about two teenagers, Mark and Margaret who are stuck in a time loop that indefinitely keeps pushing back to a certain time. Being the only ones aware of the time loop, they make a map of small perfectly timed events and deduce that the last perfect thing is the key to stop the day from repeating itself. Both indulge in a romantic relationship that goes through various moments like love, fight, ups and downs. A feel-good movie that is a must-watch.

Photo-Prem is a funny story that focuses on Maee played by Neena Kulkarni. Maee while attending the funeral of her close one indulges in a thought process of leaving behind a memorable photo that could be kept for remembrance after her death. A photo that could define the real her. She soaks herself in the journey to click that one photo that could define her. The journey is relatable to many makes us laugh, emotional and feel good all in the same story.

The romantic story revolves around an Ex-Army officer, Kabir as he becomes a teacher in the school which was once run by his father. The school with equal to nil facilities lingers around a shutdown. But Kabir starts teaching to save the school from a shutdown. Kabir finds a notebook left by a former teacher, Firdaus. By applying her teaching methods, Kabir becomes really popular among the Kids. Now Kabir wants to find Firdaus and know her better.

Maara is adapted from the 2015 Malayalam film Charlie. The story revolves around the character of Maara played by R. Madhavan. Maara, an artist who doesn't confine himself to a certain place, leaves behind his art and keeps on moving to different locations. Paaru, a new girl in the city finds an artwork based on a story she overheard in her childhood. She tries to track him down. Paaru is in love with Maara, a person she never met.
