While parallelly Radheshyaam Tiwari thinks his wife Anjali is having an affair with Akash. A hilarious journey breaks out when the whole fiasco turns big.

Highlights

In the beautiful mountainous region of Manali lives a Kapoor family. The family is headed by Retired Colonel Gobind Kapoor. Gobind is a strict personality with a character of discipline and a straight face like any Army man. His youngest son Akash Kapoor is doing well in his life post his graduation. But everything changes for the family when a woman named Vani arrives at the Kapoor mansion stating that she is the wife of Akash and the girl child named Gehna that she has brought with her is the daughter of Akash and her. The whole family is shocked to hear this.

Though Akash accepts that he loved Vani in his college days and they were in a relationship for a brief period of time before she left him out of nowhere and with no notice. Till everything clears, Gobind orders that Vani stays at the Kapoor mansion. Akash takes Anjali Tiwari’s help who is a close family friend to the Kapoors and has a say in every big matter. In this whole fiasco, Anjali Tiwari’s husband that is Radheshyaam Tiwari is doubting that Akash and Anjali are having an affair and that Anjali is pregnant with Akash. He often notices Akash and Anjali together and his doubt grows even bigger. The good for nothing lawyer decides to kill Akash. All this fiasco leads to a journey filled with comedy and a hilarious storyline.

Positives

The film is shot in some of the most beautiful locations of Himachal Pradesh. The bright sunny weather with the beautiful mountains and landscapes just adds so much to the cinematographic point of view of the film. The locations are such bliss and refreshing to watch on the screen.

The film is not star-packed but its cast is certainly one of the most positive points. Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Tiku Talsania and Manoj Joshi remind the audience of those beautiful old times. These names used to rule the comedy arena in Bollywood at one point in time. It is beautiful and at the same time nostalgic too to find these names together in a movie after a very long time.

Negatives

Hungama 2 is known to be a sequel to the 2003 Hungama movie. But the movie does not come anywhere near to its erstwhile. Hungama 2 has a needlessly long story with little to no touch with reality. It should not have been anywhere more than 2 hrs.

The story of Hungama 2 is so boring and predictable that it is so hard for one to watch the full movie. Not even the Kings of comedy like Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Johnny Lever can save this average movie. Even its music is just bang average.

Conclusion

Other than some small pockets of comedy, Hungama 2 offers close to nothing to its audience. It is just too boring and predictable.
