Synopsis

Dhruv and Kavya, a live-in couple aptly portray the adjustments required to keep a modern-day relationship afloat. Their story is full of ups and downs but at the end of the day, they always realise their priorities and the things that matter. The most recent season follows the couple getting back together after being away from each other due to work-related commitments.

Highlights

Dhruv Sehgal is back in India after spending more than a year in Finland for a project. While Kavya Kulkarni continues her job in the Nagpur branch. Both get together for a holiday in Kerala on the eve of Kavya's 30th Birthday. Dhruv plans lots of things for her but he is often busy with his work. However, both get back to Mumbai and start their work. Kavya requests a transfer from Nagpur to Mumbai and just when the request gets accepted, she is diagnosed with a back problem. Kavya and Dhruv are pushed back after the problem becomes serious and the young girl has to quit her job.

This creates a huge vacuum in Kavya's life but the couple tries to overcome many such challenges in the fourth season. The beautiful storyline takes a different turn when both the couple's parents show up at their flat in Mumbai. Slowly things start to get back as to how they were. Kavya and Dhruv finally decide to engage in the house warming party. And a new journey begins for the budding couple.

Positives

The starting episodes of season four take us to the beautiful, lush and green lands of Munnar, Kerala. Moreover, the landscapes and backwaters of Kerala are so beautiful to watch. It is soothing to watch such beautiful places in the comfort of a screen.

Dhruv Sehgal's character is played by Dhruv while Kavya's character is played by Mithila Palkar. Both have done a very good job in season four like every other season. They look like a perfect couple.

The writing and the storyline of the show are so beautiful. It captures every little raw emotion with perfection and everyone watching can relate a lot to the story and the characters which are very important for that connection with the show to take place.

Negatives

The two negatives that can be given to the beautiful show is that it has a very short timeline. The episodes barely swing between 20-25 mins. Moreover, the wait for another season is usually a year which makes it more disappointing and frustrating. The other is that it lacks the humour that it had in its previous seasons.

Conclusion

Little Things connects with the audience through raw and pure emotion. It is a light and beautiful show which can be watched with the family as well.
