By bringing back the nostalgia of the 70s with wide pants, gaming parlours, lava lamps and hippie clothes this show is a super fun ride with the six teenage friends drifting through high school into adulthood. With relatable characters and comedy, the first six seasons were at its best with the repetitive comedy thereafter but still, this show is a must-watch.

Do not go as the title suggests, the show which spans nine seasons has little to do about how Ted Mosby meets the mother of the children but is about the hilarious situations he ends up with his best friends and his past relationships. This sitcom is awesome in the initial seasons but is still enjoyable later on as well. Neil Patrick Harris steals the show with his famous dialogues and the ‘bro codes’.
