After World War II when Europe was rebuilding and facing poverty, an Italian man is ecstatic to finally get a job pasting movie posters all over the city. This job requires a bicycle and he sells some of his items in order to buy one, but on his first day, it gets stolen. His wife and son try to find the bicycle and this forms the raw emotions that are presented that the family goes through. A heartwrenching movie to watch.
