Based on the novel ‘Moneyball: The art of winning an unfair game’ by Michael Lewis, Billy Beane and Peter Brand go old school with their baseball team’s selection. They go all-out attack in the transfer market and sell overvalued players whilst buying the ones undervalued. Billy Beane’s hardcore tactics are set to push up Peter’s team: The A’s. The movie is mainly behind the scenes and less on the field. The outstanding film is absolutely stellar in more ways than one.
